Well-established UK law firm Clarke Willmott is the latest company to join the ABP International Alliance - a network and platform fostering cooperation among businesses, organisations, to assist each other to create new opportunities in international markets.
Clarke Willmott has extensive experience in assisting listed companies in the fields of Merger and Acquisition as well as handling corporate transactions and now by becoming a member of ABP International Alliance aims to expand their markets internationally through ABP’s extensive business network. The move presents a win-win future for both parties by adding strengthen to the Alliance’s business network and opening up more opportunities.
ABP and Clarke Willmott have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with ABP Hong Kong Holdings Co. Ltd to confirm the arrangement.
The MOU was signed by Senior Business Manager, ABP Hong Kong Holdings Co. Ltd, Lisa Yip and CEO of Clarke Willmott, Stephen Rosser, on 13 November 2017 and witnessed by representatives of both teams including Clarke Willmott partners, Helen Tse, Simon Smith and Rober Ridd, along with their Managing Director (Corporate Division) & Head of China Desk, Simon Thomas, and Clarke Willmott China Counsellor, Lily Knott.
ABP Senior Business Manager, Lisa Yip stated “ABP has successfully made the journey from Asia to London turning a brownfield site into a large scale comprehensive commercial project, therefore we are convinced that companies in Asia can make that journey too and we are committed to assist them to reach new markets. We look forward to working with Clarke Willmott closely in the future”.
Prior to the signing ceremony, a partnership event “Invest UK” between the two companies was held successfully in ABP HK sales office. Helen Tse from Clarke Willmott introduced her pioneering book published as “Doing Business After Brexit: A Practical Guide to the Legal Changes” and shared her thought-provoking insights with 50 guests.
