ABP London showcased the latest development of Royal Albert Dock project at this year’s Newham Mayor’s Show. This was the first time ABP London took part in this annual event, held in July, which marked an important step for the company to get closer with the local community, and to give up to date information to the local residents.
Sir Robin Wales, the Mayor of Newham, visited at ABP’s exhibition stand and warmly thanked the company for its strong support for the event. He also said that ABP Royal Albert Dock will regenerate the local area and bring prosperity to the community.
More than 25,000 people came to the Mayor’s Show held at Central Park in Newham. ABP’s stand was set in the marquee with the theme of ‘Showcasing Newham Past, Present and Future’. Visitors who came to the booth asked about the scale of the project and the background of the company and gave strong support for the investment and transformation of Royal Albert Dock. Because ABP creates not only a business platform for enterprises, but also an attractive and uplifting environment with a mix of business, leisure and culture.
The Mayor’s Show is 50 years old, and to celebrate the anniversary, it featured music, fashion and technology from the 1960s as well as the present day. Most visitors were young and culturally diverse, reflecting the character of the area.
