ABP has played a leading role at one of the biggest annual global real estate events – the MIPIM Asia Summit in Hong Kong.
The Royal Albert Dock project was showcased during several high profile sessions during the 2 day event with ABP as a gold sponsor alongside Savills, CITIC Capital, and the UK Government’s Department for international Trade.
In her keynote speech, Chief Executive of Hong Kong, Mrs. Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-Ngor, pointed to the great advances that have taken place in recent years and presented an impressive video promoting major Hong Kong events embracing numerous sports, cultural, economic and infrastructure developments and activities.
After her speech, she invited ABP London COO John Miu and other VIP guests, to take the stage for a commemorative photograph before an audience of more than 800 international delegates drawn from the real estate industry across Asia.
ABP Global Communications Director, Neil Robinson, and Senior Business Manager of ABP Hong Kong, Lisa Yip, jointly hosted a session on “The Unique Opportunity Presented by London’s Next Business District”, and they also led the ABP London and Asia Teams at the MIPIM “Re-Connect” business matching session.
To mark the UK’s participation at MIPIM Asia, the British Consulate of Hong Kong hosted a drinks reception for UK and Hong Kong business guests to learn more about development opportunities in Manchester, Birmingham and London including the ABP London Royal Albert Dock scheme.
