ABP at “Asia Trade in the New Global Order” conference

ABP attended the “Asia Trade in the New Global Order” conference which was initiated by Chief Executive of Hong Kong Mrs. Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-Ngor and organised by the think tank organisation Asia House in Hong Kong.

At the “Connectivity in Asia” panel discussion chaired by FT’s Asia Editor Jamil Anderlini, John Miu, COO of ABP London cited Royal Albert Dock as an example to emphasise, “It is about building a sustainable economic and social cycle with infrastructure supported by public sector and the commitment by the developer.” Royal Albert Dock is being developed at the heart of the government’s “Arc of opportunities” and the only Enterprise Zone in South East England.

The view was echoed by other panellists including Gregory Hodkinson, Chairman, Arup Group, Lincoln Leong, Chief Executive Officer, MTR Corporation, James Cameron, Co-Head of Infrastructure and Real Estate Group for Asia-Pacific, HSBC and Thierry de Longuemar, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, AIIB.
